Verification of License or Registration

Requesting a Letter of Good Standing

Fee is $10.00 for each verification being requested. Check should be payable to North Carolina Veterinary Medical Board (NCVMB).

Turn around time for License/Registration verification request are within 48 hours once the Board office receives the written request.

Veterinarians or Veterinary Technicians needing a verification of License/Registration must make the request in writing to the Board office. The request should contain where the verification is to be sent.

A current address & telephone number for the individual making the request will need to be provided. The individual will receive a copy of the requested license/registration verification. This copy is for their records and as an indication of when the official license/registration verification was mailed.
