Veterinary Health Program
NCVHP encourages and supports the well-being and recovery of veterinary providers dealing with substance use disorders and mental health issues with compassion, support, accountability and advocacy. Through their evaluation, monitoring and treatment referral programs, NCVHP works to empower veterinary medical providers in finding resolutions to return to their fulfilling profession of caring for pets and their owners.
If you or someone you work with needs help with chemical dependence or substance abuse, please contact the North Carolina Veterinary Health Program. The call can remain anonymous. You may be taking the first step in saving a colleague's career, future or your own.
